We believe that precision is also a form of beauty

Ice is perfectly transparent. It takes on a perfect form not because it wants to be beautiful — but because it obeys laws that do not tolerate approximation. This is how we think about design.

ICE WEAR s.r.o. is the form this team chose for working together. Not a start from scratch, but a new chapter written by people with history.

We share one conviction: good work is not immediately visible. It reveals itself over time — in how a building serves people, how a space lives, how a system holds load years later.

ICE WEAR is a meeting that took decades. Architects, engineers, designers, researchers and technologists — each of whom walked their own long path in their field — and at some point found themselves at the same point. Not by chance. Because they were thinking about the same things, just in different languages.

We do not deliver 'services'. We enter a project as co-authors — with our own opinions, professional positions and the willingness to defend them. The client receives not executors, but partners who care.

Our divisions work as independent creative units — and as a single organism when a project requires a full cycle. We can be both narrow and broad. That is our flexibility.

Prague is our home and coordination centre. Projects — wherever there is a task worth attention.

What we do

Eight ways of thinking about one and the same thing.

Architecture bureau

Architecture is frozen music, said Schelling. We would add: it is also mathematics, psychology, and a conversation with those who will live or work inside.

Engineering bureau

Engineers are poets who write in equations. Their work is invisible until it disappears. Good engineering is the silence inside a building that stands exactly as it should.

Design bureau

A project is the language spoken by builders, installers and clients. If the document is written poorly — the building reads incorrectly.

Interior design bureau

Space affects a person before they are even aware of it. A good environment changes mood, the speed of thinking, the sense of time. A poor one drains energy without explaining why.

Research & development bureau

The most interesting projects begin with a question for which there is no answer yet.

Textile division

Fabric is architecture at a smaller scale. It has its own structure, its own engineering, its own conversation with the body or the space.

Technology & digital infrastructure

The digital environment is also architecture. Only invisible. And errors there are just as costly as errors in load-bearing structures.

Trade, logistics & operations management

A good idea without the right operational chain is just a good idea. We close the gap between concept and realisation at the level where everything either works or it does not.

Scale & geography

A project knows no borders. Neither do we.

In every country, we work through partner organisations operating under formal agreements in compliance with local legislation. This is not an agent network — it is a professional ecosystem built on aligned standards and mutual trust.

We work with clients of any scale — because scale does not determine the complexity of a task. Sometimes a small project requires more refined thinking than a large one.

Prague is the coordination and administrative centre of the company. Contractual work, partner network management, quality standards control — here. Projects — wherever the client is.

Every project begins not with a drawing — but with a conversation. We want to understand not only what needs to be built or delivered, but why, for whom, and what should change when it is complete.

Then — work. Without unnecessary words, without process imitation, with full accountability for the result. Divisions engage in exactly the combination the task requires. No more — no less.

All subcontracting and partner organisations engaged in our projects operate under formal agreements in full compliance with the applicable legislation of the country of realisation.
